Join Master Gardener and CMPSC Caretaker, Katie Bliss as she presents How the Pollinator Garden Came To Be(e). Since 2022, Katie has transformed the courtyard at the former St. Mary’s By The Sea into a haven for pollinators. Through collaborations with the Native Plant Society of New Jersey, the Xerces Society and others, Katie has created an oasis of native pollinator plants that supports a wide variety of bees, butterflies, hummingbirds and other wildlife. Come learn about her efforts and view the gorgeous gardens for yourself.
Katie Bliss serves as the garden designer and caretaker at the Cape May Point Science Center after retiring from her north Jersey garden design and maintenance business, Blissful Gardening.
