Learn to paint efficiently with expert guidance on selecting the perfect location, understanding weather and light conditions, and setting up a well-balanced landscape palette. This retreat features demonstrations and lectures covering painting surfaces, materials, mediums, compositional drawing, and color studies. About Joe Sweeney:
Joseph Sweeney is a professional landscape painter based in Ardmore, PA. He holds a BFA in Painting and Drawing from the Philadelphia College of Art (now the University of the Arts) and an MFA from Penn State University. With extensive teaching experience, he has instructed at renowned institutions such as PAFA, the University of the Arts, Wayne Art Center, Woodmere Art Museum, and Chester Springs Yellow Springs Studio. His award-winning work is featured in numerous public and private collections, as well as museums.
